So both girls graduated within a week of each other. What a hectic time, but it was fun. First we went south to Pretty Teacher's Honor's College Graduation where they presented her with a medal cuz she did good learnin'.
Then, we went to Pretty Girl's graduation where she graduated with honors and distinction, despite me, with her two year degree and will transfer to the big university up the road to major in Speech Pathology.
Then we went back down south for Pretty Teacher's Humanities Convocation (Spanish and Portuguese).
For entertainment there was a youth Mariachi group who couldn't sing on tune but were adorable anyway.
Next, we raced across town for the Social and Behavior Sciences Convocation (Psychology).
When this was over we went to a reception in another part of this convention center and lost Pretty Teacher but she eventually found us after borrowing two or three cell phones to find out where the hell we were cuz I told her we would meet her out front. And we didn't. And she turned out smart anyway.
Then we met Dr. Stone, Pretty Teacher's Honor's advisor, who gave her a "A" on her Honor's Project. Why wouldn't he. She may make a big difference in minority women's healthcare!
After that Pretty Girl and I drove home. Pretty Girl has learned to sleep whenever she is on a long car drive so she was tons of fun! The next day Pretty Teacher moved home from school and we went to Andy's graduation party. He's moving to Michigan for his Residency. He wants to be a plastic surgeon and I told him he could practice on me. He said ok, I guess he thinks I need it.
Then, the next day I had a Graduation Party for Pretty Teacher and Pretty Gilr with a few surprises. First Megan came to surprise Pretty Teacher cuz she's a great friend.
Then I surprised both Pretty Teacher and Pretty Girl with special cakes.
Yep, they are edible and the best cake you can imagine. Alison made them and she is very talented.
So this whole experience exhausted me but it was soooo worth it. I love Pretty Teacher and Pretty Girl!
