Pretty Girl and I were pulling into the garage the other day and she said, "Home again, home again, jiggity jig." I asked her if she remembered the first part of that rhyme but she said she didn't. I use to say that to both Pretty Doctor and Pretty Girl all the time when they were small.
I got on the internet to find out what the first part was, as I couldn't remember either. Here is what I found...
I only would repeat the first two lines, not saying dancing a jig. I would say jiggity jig. That rhyme also reminded me of the other sayings I used to say to The Prettys. Like when we would see a police officer I would say, "Copper, put your beers down!" They would proceed to put down their sippy cups. Yeah, I know, how horrible right? Oh get over it, it was hilarious! I'm sure The Prettys will deny that ever happenen, it did, they just don't remember...which is probably a good thing.

Is that why I have an irrational fear of police men?!!!
I remember that. I also remember clicking our tongues to mimic the blinker :) good times.

Our thing was the 'Im gonna find a flag' game, were you keep saying I'm gonna find a flag' until you see a flag then you yell 'I FOUND A FLAG!' and you recieved a point. At the end of trip whoever had the most points would win. My girls loved this game although they say now that they couldn't of loved it... but the other day daughter2 was in the car teaching my granddaughter the game...good times!
